Promote the release of Slingshot by creating a content experience that mirrors the film’s core themes of isolation, paranoia, and perseverance—driving engagement and awareness among sci-fi and podcast fans ahead of the premiere.

HOW?

LA Times Studios produced Wake Up— A Slingshot Story, a 3-part original audio drama inspired by the world of film. Distributed as a branded podcast, the series was supported with a robust promotion strategy across L.A. Times channels, including: homepage modules, newsletters, custom social audiograms, video interscroller, Apple News, streaming audio placements, a full-page print ad in the Calendar section, and many more.
